How to Earn Income From Home

Earn Income From Home Without the Massive Money

Outlay And Hassles of a Traditional Business

The economy today is completely different to what it was 10 years ago. No longer can you rely on your job for security or the government to support you in your retirement, you have to look to other avenues to figure out ways to earn income and many of these can be from home.

This is easier said than done of course. What is the first thing you do when you start thinking about what else is out there, what other opportunities might there be? That’s right, you jump on Google (Bing or Yahoo) and start searching. And this is what you’ll find… over 3.9 million results available, that’s over 100,000,000+ pages of results on earning income from home – how on earth are you going to know which one to choose, or where to even start and which one isn’t a scam?

Income From Home Google Search

It involves a lot of research, I can tell you! My fiancé and I have been looking for an opportunity to earn income from home for about 2 years. We have looked at online investment schemes, owning our own home-based business and multi-level marketing companies.

I personally have been involved in about 3 different multi-level marketing companies over the years, all of which promised the world but failed to deliver. And that wasn’t through any fault of my own! The problem with traditional MLM companies is that their system is no longer working for people. Those that got in about 10-20 years ago are the ones making  the most money. It is very difficult to make money in a traditional MLM company if you are just starting out today, especially if you don’t have a lot of money. We are all smart and most of us have been exposed to one form of MLM or another – we can smell hype a mile away!

However, there is no denying that network marketing, the foundation of MLM, works. Think about it, think about how many jobs you have gotten through knowing someone, that’s a network. Think about the last restaurant you went to or the last movie you saw, did you recommend them to anyone or did someone recommend them to you? That’s network marketing right there!

The Problem with MLM Today

The problem with MLM today is that the traditional companies have not adapted to the way the world has changed. Has anyone heard of the internet in these companies?! Hello, eCommerce, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn etc), blogs, etc, etc? I believe this is the fundamental problem with the traditional MLM companies out there. They have failed to move with the times. The other issue is the products they are selling.

No-one is saying that the products they provide are bad, because they are not, the products are amazing. The problem is, the majority of the time their products are more expensive than what you can access via your local supermarket, and in times of a down economy, who can justify spending $20 for a box of laundry detergent?! The products they sell are also not necessarily something that a person just can’t do without.

What’s the Alternative?

You need to be smart. Think about the types of products that people cannot live without, think consumable products. Research shows that Water, Coffee and Tea are the most consumed beverages in the world. Wouldn’t it make sense to be involved in a company that utilised one of these products, or a home-based business that utilised this type of product? Now lets think about it, water is freely available world-wide, so whilst there are obviously companies making money on bottled water, if you can get it for free, wouldn’t you? So that leaves coffee and tea. The latest figures show that even in a down economy, people still purchase their coffee and tea – people can’t LIVE without these two beverages! Light bulb! The map below shows coffee consumption world-wide… Australia is barely on the map, however there are 1.5 billion cups of coffee being drunken in Australia– what a great opportunity!

World Wide Coffee Consumption

If you are really and truly at a place in your life where you need to do something different, then there is an opportunity for you. Maybe you’ve been made redundant (who hasn’t these days!), maybe you have a baby on the way, or you’ve got kids, an ill family member or you just want a better life for you and your loved ones. If any of this sounds like you, then you owe it to yourself to do some research, find out the facts and get in front of some people who are doing something new, something that is modern, involves the internet and a highly consumed product!

There is an opportunity out there, a club if you will, that is making amazing things happen to normal people like you and me, and all through a highly consumable product… Yep, you guessed it, coffee! There is tea and hot chocolate too, but the figures show that more people drink more coffee (aside from water) than any other beverage. I’m sure you’d like to find out how you could be accessing the “coffee that earns” business. A business that you can do from the comfort of your own home and doesn’t involve traditional MLM methods.

What Foods Are Being Genetically Modified?

Great question! And one we should be asking ourselves all the time. It goes along with what I was saying the other day about how the foods I’ve always eaten now don’t sit so well and are causing tummy problems. And the reason? Genetically modified food!

This great infographic, courtesy of Dr Leonard Caldwell just highlights some of the foods that are genetically modified in the USA – I bet that it’s the same for us here in Australia and New Zealand!

Drink Your Way To A Healthier You

Green Tea is Awesome!I don’t know about you, but I have been looking for a lot of different ways to stay healthy, whether it’s through the foods I eat, the liquids I drink or the vitamins I take, not too mention exercise, and always feel let down.

Let’s start with the foods we eat. I have noticed over the past 2-3 years, that I have grown an intolerance to gluten based products, or those that have a heavy component of wheat in them. It was literally like one day I was eating all the pasta, bread and whole wheat cereals I could, then finding that every time I ate any one of these, my tummy would bloat and I would just feel yuck, tired and fat to put it bluntly. Why is this? Why have I been able to consume all of these wheat-based foods for years and then all of a sudden (or as it would seem) I’m unable to do so?

What about the hot chocolates, chai latte’s and green tea’s we drink, not too mention coffee! Plus all those fruit juices and alcoholic beverages… anything with a milk base seems to send my body into overdrive and again, bloating and feeling fat occurs. I grew up on a farm for goodness sake! I lived on milk, so why now is my body reacting this way?

It would seem that the companies that are mass producing the products we consume on a daily basis are fighting to keep up with the demand. What we used to eat when we were 5 years old barely resembles (on a composite level) what we are eating today. For example, white flour and whole wheat flour. These types of flours can be found in breads and pasta’s, not to mention pizza bases or anything bread based. These are a large portion of our daily consumption – they are a staple in our diets. Looking into this further, we can find out that the flour we are consuming now, is vastly different from the flour we consumed as kids. The flour we are exposed to today has been genetically modified so that the wheat production has increased to meet the demands of the masses. You can learn more about by reading Wheat Belly by Dr William Davis. He provides a compelling argument about how we have been rorted into thinking that the foods we are eating today are actually the same – how can they be when so many more people are developing allergies and intolerances so much later in life? I know that I have a huge intolerance to gluten so have had to change my diet significantly to avoid discomfort – why? Because the food environment we are now exposed to differs vastly from what we experienced as kids.

Add to this the mass production of milk and what they are feeding cows and you can understand how one might start to think about what foods are good for us and what foods are not!

In amongst all of these you can still find some great products that help with the discomfort and bloating. One such product is green tea. This is an amazing imported product from China and Japan that detoxes the body and aides in digestion. Green tea has also been known to help in weight loss and improve the immune system. If you can drink 2-3 cups a day (preferably with your meals) you will begin to notice a vast improvement in your digestion and may even see some of those extra kilos start to melt away. The best type of green tea to drink is a loose leaf one so you can make a pot of it and let it steep during the day. Drinking it cold with a dash of lemon juice and ginger is also a great way to drink it.
